What counts as one Artifact Generation?
One generation creates a single in-universe artifact using your world’s canon. That could be a newspaper article, interview transcript, government memo, police report, medical record, personal journal, business email, or dozens of other document types.
What happens when I reach my limit?
On Starter, Creator, or Studio, you’ll simply pause new AI generations until your monthly allowance resets — everything you’ve already created remains available. Beta’s AI usage is a one-time allocation that doesn’t reset; once it’s used, upgrade to a paid plan for a fresh monthly allowance. Either way, your worlds, artifacts, and canon stay fully accessible.
Who owns the worlds I create?
You do. The Universe Engine helps generate, organize, and maintain your world’s canon. Your stories, characters, and worlds remain yours.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Paid plans can be cancelled at any time.
Is Beta really free?
Yes. During the limited beta, every participant receives full platform access at no cost, including a one-time allocation of AI usage — 25 Artifact Generations, 20 Ask Your World questions, and more — that’s yours for as long as you’re on Beta, with no monthly reset. Starter, Creator, and Studio are paid plans with a monthly-renewing allowance and more creative capacity, available any time you’re ready.
