The Universe Engine is in public beta. This policy describes what we actually collect and do today — it will be revised as the product, and our data practices, mature past beta.
What we collect
An account email and any authentication data needed to sign you in; the world content you create in the app (entities, artifacts, relationships, and everything else that makes up your canon); and usage data (how many generations, questions, and audits you've run) needed to enforce plan limits and keep the product working.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't use the content of your world to train models beyond what's necessary to generate content for that world at your request.
Deleting a world
You can permanently delete any universe yourself, any time, from that universe's dashboard — it removes the canon, artifacts, entities, relationships, and everything else built inside it. We retain de-identified usage and billing records afterward for our own accounting, but never the content of what you built.
Deleting your account, or exporting your data
Account-level deletion and full data export aren't self-service yet — that's real, unbuilt work, not something we're going to describe as finished before it is. Emailsupport@thecontinuumstudio.com and we'll handle it by hand: exporting your canon artifacts to hand back to you, or closing your account and removing your profile and world content, within 30 days of your request. We may retain billing and transaction records afterward where we're required to for accounting or legal reasons.
Third parties
Generation is powered by third-party AI providers, who process the content of a generation request to produce a response. We don't share your account information with them beyond what's needed to make that request.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics (GA4) on this site and in the app, which collects usage data like pages visited, general location, and device/browser info to help us understand traffic. We plan to add ad-conversion tracking (starting with Meta/Facebook's pixel) for ad campaigns — this policy will be updated when that goes live.
On this site, analytics cookies are off by default — nothing runs until you choose Accept in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
